Neyrinck LLC (“Neyrinck”, “we”, “us”) operates the website at neyrinck.com, app.neyrinck.com, and the macOS application PT Peek. We are based in California, United States.

Account information

If you create an account, we collect your email address, optional display name, and a hashed password. We use this to authenticate you and provide access to admin features.

Feedback you submit

When you submit a feature request or bug report (either via the website or from within PT Peek), we collect the text of your submission and, optionally, your email address (if you choose to provide it for follow-up). Bug reports may also include the macOS version, PT Peek version, and an optional Pro Tools^® session file (.ptx) attachment. We use these to investigate and fix issues.

Server logs

Our hosting provider records standard request information (IP address, user agent, timestamp, requested URL) for up to 30 days for security and operational purposes. These logs are not combined with your account data.

Analytics

We use Vercel Web Analytics, which is cookieless and does not track individual users across visits. It records aggregated country-level traffic, page views, and referrers. No personal data, no fingerprinting, no cross-site tracking.

Auto-update checks

PT Peek periodically checks for software updates by requesting our public update feed. This request includes your IP address (used transiently to deliver the response, not stored) and the installed version of PT Peek.

• Contract — processing necessary to provide your account and the services you request.
• Legitimate interest — security, fraud prevention, debugging, and aggregate analytics.
• Consent — for optional fields like email in bug reports. You may withdraw consent at any time.

We share information only with the following processors:

• Supabase Inc. (US) — authentication, database, file storage
• Vercel Inc. (US) — website hosting and analytics
• DigitalOcean LLC (US) — application binary distribution

We do not sell or share your personal information for advertising. We do not use your data to train machine learning models.

Future services we plan to use (e.g. Stripe for payments, PACE Anti-Piracy for license management) will be added to this list before they go live.

Our servers and processors are based in the United States. If you are in the EU, UK, or another region with cross-border data rules, your data is transferred to and processed in the US. Where required, we rely on Standard Contractual Clauses or equivalent safeguards.

• Account information: until you delete your account.
• Feature requests: up to 2 years after submission.
• Bug reports and attached .ptx files: up to 2 years.
• Server logs: up to 30 days.
• Analytics: aggregated, no individual retention.

Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have the right to:

• Access the personal data we hold about you
• Correct inaccurate data
• Request deletion (right to erasure)
• Object to or restrict certain processing
• Receive your data in portable form
• Lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority

We do not sell or share personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising. California residents have the same rights as listed above (access, deletion, correction). To exercise them, email the address above.

Our services are not directed to children under 16. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us and we will delete it.

We use only strictly necessary cookies for authenticated sessions (set by Supabase Auth). We do not use advertising or analytics cookies. Vercel Web Analytics operates without cookies.

We use industry-standard measures to protect your information, including HTTPS, encrypted storage, scoped access via Row Level Security, and least-privilege admin access. No system is perfectly secure; if we discover a breach affecting your data, we will notify you as required by law.

We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be announced on this page with an updated effective date. Continued use of our services after a change indicates acceptance.
