How it works
Pro Tools session files are complex. PT Peek reads them with a unique technology pipeline built for reliability.
A breakthrough in reading .ptx files
There's no public spec for the .ptx format. After years of experimentation, our founder Paul found a new approach that finally works — letting PT Peek see tracks, clips, plugins, and more so Pro Tools users can work faster and stay in the flow.
Tested against hundreds of real sessions
Our regression suite runs against a growing library of real-world Pro Tools® sessions before every release — different versions, sample rates, channel formats, and surround configurations — so PT Peek stays reliable across real-world projects.
Gets smarter with every report
Pro Tools sessions can have subtle quirks we haven't seen yet. PT Peek includes a one-click form to send us a problem session privately — so we can fix it fast and ship the improvement to every user.
