The symphonic effect, perfectly modeled
V-90 Symphonic captures the unmistakable shimmer of the legendary SPX 90's Symphonic preset 15 — the chorus-meets- stereo-width effect heard on countless recordings and stage rigs.

Hear it in action
Listen how V-90 Symphonic sounds on real material.
Instant vibe. Anywhere.
Two params. Decades of character. Drop V-90 Symphonic on a vocal, bass, guitar, synth — and it's the sound you've been chasing.
Faithful to the original
Modeled directly from the 1985 SPX 90 hardware, including its 31.25 kHz sample rate and 12 kHz bandwidth — every nuance of the original LFO modulation scheme preserved.
Two-param simplicity
Modulation Frequency and Depth. That's it. Sit down, dial in, move on. The hardest part is putting it away.
Zero latency
Tracking-friendly out of the box. Print it on the way in, monitor performers through it, no compromises.
Every major format
AU, VST, VST 3, AAX Native, and AAX DSP. AAX DSP support means it works on Pro Tools HDX, Carbon, and Avid Live Sound systems.
Mac & Windows
Native plug-ins for both platforms. Apple Silicon and Intel CPUs. Sample rates up to 96 kHz.
iLok licensing
Two activations included. Use it on your studio rig and your laptop, or share with a collaborator. iLok USB key and machine license supported.

Heard on records you already love

Since 1985, the SPX 90's symphonic patch has been everywhere — slathered on vocals, drums, guitars, and synths by some of the most influential records of the last forty years. Nirvana. The producers behind Ozzy Osbourne. J Dilla.
The effect is so iconic that for many engineers it's less a choice and more a reflex. V-90 Symphonic puts that reflex back in your DAW, exactly as you remember it.
Why it sounds right
Other plug-ins approximate. V-90 Symphonic models.
Deep analysis, not estimated
Our founder Paul Neyrinck wrote custom signal-processing software to decode the SPX 90's LFO modulation scheme bit-by-bit. The modeling matches the original silicon's behavior, not a recreation from memory.
Period-correct sample path
The original ran at 31.25 kHz with a 12 kHz audio bandwidth. V-90 Symphonic preserves that exact internal sample path — the part of the sound that's impossible to fake by tweaking a generic chorus.
Two parameters, by design
The SPX 90's symphonic patch was a single-purpose effect. V-90 Symphonic respects that: just Modulation Frequency and Modulation Depth. The character is in the math, not the menu.
What engineers are saying
“It's great! Sounds *exactly* right to me and even feels correct ergonomically. I've used it in several tracks already and it does that SPX thing.”
“This thing RULES!! A serious must have - amazing work on this Paul!!!”
“This plug-in made me go back and change mixes I had been working on before, cause the v-90 is so good, I needed it on that album!”
“Just used it tonight. Pretty dead on. ...the moment I put it on the bass it was “it”! Well done. The interface is great, looks just like the SPX!”
“I love the idea of a plug in that does one thing exceptionally well, I have too many Swiss army knives already”
“Doing some A/B-ing right now. You absolutely nailed it, Paul!”
“Its great, brings back some nostalgic feelings from the great analog era…thanks paul!”
“I've spent years trying to find a plug-in that does this! This emulation is absolutely incredible.”
