Supercharged for Pro Tools®
The PreSonus FaderPort V2 has a built-in Pro Tools® HUI mode with basic but limited features. V-Control Pro supercharges it with professional features typically found on much more expensive controllers. The ioStation 24c shares the same control section, with audio I/O built in, and gets every feature too.

What V-Control Pro adds
Everything the stock HUI mode can't do — and how V-Control Pro does it.
Fast Focus and ReFocus
Without V-Control Pro, the FaderPort doesn't follow your track selection. You scroll it left and right one track at a time, and if you select a track outside its current bank of eight, it silently loses focus.
With V-Control Pro, the FaderPort automatically focuses to any track you select. The bank widens to thirty-two tracks for instant focus, and if focus is ever lost the Channel button blinks — tap it to ReFocus. (Patent pending.)
V-Window plug-in control
Without V-Control Pro, the FaderPort has no Pro Tools® plug-in parameter control.
With V-Control Pro, hover the mouse pointer over a plug-in parameter and tap Link to enable V-Window. The fader and rotary encoder now move the mouse up and down for smooth, accurate control — and the touch-sensitive fader works perfectly with Touch and Latch automation. For horizontal sliders, hold Ctrl on your keyboard.
10-bit, accurate fader
Without V-Control Pro, the FaderPort sends 9-bit fader messages, and its scale marks don't match Pro Tools®: 0 dB on the FaderPort is really −1.0 dB, −5 is −8.5, and −10 is −14.5.
V-Control Pro sends 10-bit fader messages and translates the fader position so the scale marks match. Mix with confidence and precision.
Pro automation
Without V-Control Pro, the FaderPort doesn't show automation mode or status.
With V-Control Pro you can select and see the automation modes — Off, Read, Write, Touch, Latch, and Trim — and their status. The red buttons blink when automation is armed and light solid while writing. In Touch mode, writing stops the instant you release the fader.
Sends with fader flip
Without V-Control Pro, you can't adjust a Pro Tools® send from the FaderPort at all.
With V-Control Pro, tap Link, Master, Click, or Section to select Send A, B, C, or D. The encoder adjusts the send level, and pushing it toggles pre/post-fader. Press Bypass to flip: the fader controls send level, Mute mutes the send, and the encoder pans stereo sends.
Volume and pan reset
Without V-Control Pro, you can't reset volume or pan from the FaderPort.
With V-Control Pro, hold Shift and tap the fader to reset it to 0 dB, or hold Shift and push the encoder to center the pan. It works in send flip mode too.
Dialog Cancel / OK
Adding a memory location from the FaderPort opens a Pro Tools® dialog, which normally sends your hand back to the keyboard or mouse.
V-Control Pro detects Pro Tools® dialogs and blinks the buttons: press Previous to cancel or Next to OK. Very handy.
All Solo Clear
Without V-Control Pro, the FaderPort only clears solo for the eight tracks in its current bank.
With V-Control Pro, it clears every solo in the session.

The Avid Control app lets you browse and select any track in Pro Tools®with ease. V-Control Pro's Fast Focus / ReFocus feature automatically assigns it to the FaderPort. Incredibly fast and easy.

Select any Pro Tools® track with RAVEN and the FaderPort automatically focuses so you can grab a fader when you need to. Make the fantastic RAVEN more fantastic.
V-Window plug-in control
V-Window lets you control plug-in parameters with the FaderPort's touch-sensitive fader. Hover the mouse over the parameter you want to control. When you touch and move the fader, the mouse is remotely controlled to click and drag for precise control.
Touch mode automation works perfectly for professional mix control.
