About Command|8
Command|8 was Digidesign's answer to the small-studio engineer who wanted real motorized faders without a console-sized footprint. Eight touch-sensitive faders, dedicated transport, a rotary encoder row, and a built-in monitor section — all over a single USB cable.
It shipped as the go-to controller for Pro Tools LE and M-Powered rigs, and thousands are still on desks today. V-Control Pro keeps them useful by connecting it to modern Pro Tools and other DAWs.
